SPACEWORLD 2000 UPDATE
6:13am ET, monday march 13th
For months now, Nintendo executives have told the world that Project Dolphin would finally be revealed in full at the Spaceworld exposition in Japan later this year. Playable games, tech demos, announcements: The works. So we wondered when exactly this expo was going to occur. Nintendo Co. presented us with the answer.
According to a spokesperson, the three-day show will begin on Friday, August 25th and end on Sunday, August 27th. Just like last year, it will be open to the public all three days: Thus, you can expect tens of thousands of Japanese kids to line up, again just like last year, to play the latest and greatest Pokemon games. Also identical to last year, it will be held at the Mukahari Messe Expo Hall.
Nintendo Spaceworld 2000 promises to be much more exciting than last year, which featured a lot of Pokemon and a few 64DD games but not much else. This August, we can expect to see the last batch of spectacular Nintendo 64 games, the latest Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Cell-Phone Adapter features, and of course, Dolphin.
