RETRO DEVELOPING FOR GBA
10:02pm ET, thursday march 16th

IGN64 reports this evening that Retro Studios is underway with development for the GBC successor, titled the Game Boy Advance, in addition to Nintendo's next-generation system, codenamed Dolphin. The Austin, Texas-based development house was founded last year and is said to have multiple Dolphin games in the works.

You can expect that some games in development by Retro will feature some sort of linkup that allows for data to be transferred between the Dolphin and GBA versions of a game. And since Nintendo owns a stake in Retro, they will have early access to all the innovations NOA has planned, so expect nothing short of brilliance from them come release of their games in the months -- and years -- to come.
