PRINT "STADIUM" STICKERS AT BLOCKBUSTER

Nintendo announced today that their Pokemon partnership with Blockbuster will continue with the release of "Pokemon Stadium." Similar to the Pokemon Snap promotion, consumers can take their 'Stadium' cartridge to participating Blockbusters and print out stickers featuring player's favorite Pokemon characters! The promotion runs through May 31st.
"Blockbuster is delighted to offer its customers this exclusive promotion with Nintendo," said Steve Lundeen, vice president interactive merchandising for Blockbuster, in a press release today. The Pokemon Stadiums at the Blockbusters will continue to function with Pokemon Snap in addition to Stadium.
To print out the stickers, players purchase a Pokemon Smart Card, which can be purchased at Blockbuster. The smart cards are $3 a pop. Coupons for the smart cards will be distributed via Nintendo Power Magazine, Pokémon Stadium game pak, Blockbuster direct mail and Top Deck magazine, among other outlets.
